Worship
Service time: 10:30 a.m.
(summertime: 9:30 a.m.)
The true worshippers will worship in
spirit and in truth,
for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks.
John 4:23
The style of our Sunday worship service is “charismatic and
liturgical”. That means we aim for a
joyful expression of praise within an ordered pattern of worship. We use both contemporary music and hymns to
exalt our Lord. The service centers on
God word and is framed by unhurried prayer and praise. Drama, audio-visual aids, and a children’s
message help us communicate God’s word.
The Lord’s Supper is celebrated the first Sunday of each month.
We chose our worship style because we feel it is the best
meshing of ancient Christian tradition and fresh experience of God’s
presence. But we understand that the
style of our worship is not truly important.
Jesus Christ is the object of our worship, and he is “the same
yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews
13:8).
